The Project
- To produce an hour long documentary which captures the Irish rugby team’s historic series victory over New Zealand in the summer of 2022 to be broadcast at prime time Christmas week on RTÉ 1.
- To create TV and social media promos to promote the documentary for RTÉ, the IRFU and VideosontheNet.
The Results
IRFU President John Robinson said:
“Our thanks to John Sherwin, Ross Whitaker and all the team in VideosOnTheNet for their hard work in producing this wonderful documentary which captures Ireland’s historic victory with behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews as the squad and coaches reflected on Ireland’s series victory over New Zealand last summer.”
The series of 5 social media promos produced by VOTN were used by both the IRFU and RTÉ on social media generating hundreds of thousands of views in December 2022.
The documentary was repeated on RTÉ 1 in January 2023.
