Season 13: Our Biggest Year Yet
Presenter Doireann Ní Ghlacáin returned for her second season of Tracks & Trails, broadcast on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, guiding an even bigger lineup of Irish personalities along the country's most beautiful trails. This five-part series journeyed through Louth, Roscommon, Longford, Antrim, Kildare and Dún Laoghaire, pairing stunning scenery with conversations about heritage, history and connection to the land.
This season's guests included broadcaster Anton Savage, singer and senator Frances Black, scientist and author Luke O'Neill, and musician Jack Lukeman, among others.
- The Project:
- To produce and direct Season 13 of Tracks & Trails for broadcast on RTÉ featuring walks, hikes and trails across Ireland.
- To build on the series' online identity and grow a national and international digital audience
- The Growth: Season 13 marked a step-change in reach for Tracks & Trails. Social media video views passed 1.5 million, and RTÉ.ie trail pages (linked via on-screen QR codes) drew over 132,000 views
Our social audience has grown into a genuinely international one: 73,200 followers on Instagram, 11,800 on TikTok and 5,300 on Facebook with a strong US audience
